Lakshmi Kambampati is a long-time resident of Wichita, Kansas. She is a passionate educator and teacher trainer, with a career that's taken her across the United States and overseas through programs supported by the U.S. State Department. One of the most cherished moments in her teaching journey was in Sarnath, India, where she taught mathematics to visually impaired children. Their joy, curiosity, and determination to learn touched her deeply. That's why, when Balbir mentioned the Art Connecting Hearts project, she leaped at the opportunity to contribute. When time permits, she loves to play with acrylics--letting colors speak where words sometimes fall short. This painting is a small part of her story, and she hopes it brings a spark of color and heart to yours.
